Helping Women Hear the Whispers of Ovarian Cancer

Ovar’coming Together offers our speaker’s bureau seminars “free of charge” to your business, professional association, or community organization. The goal of our presentation is for attendees to:

1. Know the risk factors and common symptoms of ovarian cancer
2. Understand that a Pap test “rarely” detects ovarian cancer
3. Know the proper steps to take if ovarian cancer symptoms persist

These seminars are presented in a non-threatening, easy to understand manner. Our trained speakers are committed to making a difference by sharing stories based upon their personal experiences as either an ovarian cancer survivor, or through the eyes of a loved one who has been touched by this disease. It is truly the courage and passion of our speakers that makes our bureau so effective at presenting a difficult subject in a powerful and memorable way.

We ask your group to provide:

• A meeting place
• PowerPoint equipment or overhead projector (Handouts can be used if this equipment is not available)
• 30-60 minutes for the presentation. The length of the presentation can be adjusted to meet your needs.

Ovar’coming Together will provide:

• A trained speaker
• Free educational materials for all attendees
